Topography

The village of Modrava is a popular centre of the year-round mountain tourism. It is formed of originally three villages - Modrava, Filipova Huť and Vchynice-Tetov. It lies at the altitude of 985 metres on the confluence of three streams - the Modravský, the Filipohuťský and the Roklanský , thus forming the Vydra river.
